GEDnet, the Global Type III Environmental Product Declarations Network, founded in 1999, is an international non-profit association of Type III Environmental Product Declaration organizations and practitioners. The overall purpose of the network is to foster co-operation and encourage information exchange among its members and other parties operating or developing Type III Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) programs and to discuss key issues in developing such programs.
A type III environmental declaration (EPD) provides information regarding the environmental aspects of products and services based on information from life cycle assessment studies according to the ISO 14040-series of standards.

The process for developing type III environmental declarations (EPD) is described in ISO 14025.

Currently representatives from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Norway, Republic of South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan and a few companies/organizations are participating within GEDnet.
